How much do veneers cost in Dubai?

Porcelain veneers in Dubai start from AED 1,800 per tooth. The total depends mostly on how many teeth you treat and what needs to happen first.

The price of veneers is one of the first things patients ask about, and one of the hardest to answer with a single number. The cost per tooth is only part of the picture. How many teeth you treat, whether your gums or bite need attention first, and which material suits you all change the total. Here is how we work it out, so the figure in your treatment plan makes sense before you commit.

The starting price per tooth

At Veloradent, porcelain veneers start from AED 1,800 per tooth. We use E.max, a lithium disilicate ceramic that is strong, thin and translucent enough to look like natural enamel. Composite bonding, where tooth-coloured resin is shaped directly onto the tooth in a single visit, starts from AED 650 per tooth.

These are starting prices. The fee for your own case is set after an examination, and you receive it in writing before any treatment begins, so there are no surprises halfway through.

How many veneers do you need?

Very few people need veneers on every tooth. What matters is how many teeth show when you smile broadly. Most people show between six and ten upper teeth, so a typical upper smile makeover covers six to eight teeth. Treating only the front two or four is possible, but matching the colour and translucency of the untreated teeth beside them is harder.

As a rough guide, based on the per-tooth starting price:

  • 2 veneers: 2 × AED 1,800, so from AED 3,600
  • 4 veneers: 4 × AED 1,800, so from AED 7,200
  • 6 veneers: 6 × AED 1,800, so from AED 10,800
  • 8 veneers: 8 × AED 1,800, so from AED 14,400

The lower teeth show less in most smiles, so they are often whitened to match rather than veneered.

What changes the final cost

Several things can add to the total or, in some cases, reduce it:

  • Whitening first, from AED 1,200, so the veneers can be matched to a lighter natural shade
  • Gum disease or decay that must be treated before any veneers are bonded
  • Crooked teeth, where a short course of aligners can mean thinner veneers and less preparation
  • Old crowns next to the new veneers that may need replacing so the colours match
  • Digital Smile Design, from AED 950, which is credited toward treatment if you proceed

Why we plan with Digital Smile Design

Paying for a smile you have not seen is a big leap. With Digital Smile Design, Dr. Sara Nasser photographs and scans your face and teeth, designs the new smile on screen and then transfers it to your mouth as a temporary mock-up. You can see and feel the shape, length and proportions of the new teeth before anything is prepared. If you go ahead, the design fee is credited toward your treatment. Our in-house dental lab at JLT also makes it easier to fine-tune shade and shape along the way.

This step also prevents the most common regret with veneers: teeth that look too white, too long or too uniform. A natural result usually keeps slight variation in shape and some translucency at the edges.

Veneers or bonding?

Composite bonding costs less, needs little or no drilling and can be done in one visit. It suits small chips, gaps and uneven edges. However, it stains and wears faster than porcelain and usually needs polishing or repair after a few years. E.max veneers keep their colour and shine much longer and resist staining from coffee, tea and shisha, but they involve removing a thin layer of enamel, so the decision is permanent. Your dentist will explain which suits your teeth after an examination.

Lifespan matters when you compare prices. With good care and regular check-ups, porcelain veneers often last 10 to 15 years or more, while bonding usually needs refreshing sooner. Spread over those years, the gap between the two is smaller than the starting prices suggest. If you grind your teeth at night, we usually recommend a night guard to protect either option.

Paying for veneers

Veneers are usually considered cosmetic, so most insurance policies do not cover them. If a veneer or crown is needed to repair a broken or heavily filled tooth, part of the cost may be covered, and direct billing with major insurers is available at our Trade Centre clinic. You can spread the cost with 0% instalments over 3, 6 or 12 months on selected bank credit cards, or with Tabby or Tamara. If you already have a quote and recent X-rays from another clinic, bring them in for a free second-opinion consultation.

This article is general information and does not replace an examination. Your dentist will confirm what suits you.

Not sure which treatment you need?

Book a consultation at either clinic. We examine, take any X-rays needed and give you a written plan with prices before you decide.
