All-on-6 replaces all the teeth in one jaw with a single fixed bridge supported by six implants. It is designed for people who have lost most or all of their teeth, or whose remaining teeth are failing because of decay or advanced gum disease. Six implants spread chewing forces across the arch and give strong support for a full set of teeth. If one implant ever has a problem, the other five can usually keep the bridge stable while it is managed, which is one reason many clinicians prefer six implants to four where the bone allows.
The main difference from dentures is that the teeth are fixed. They do not rock, need no adhesive and are not taken out at night. An upper All-on-6 bridge does not cover the palate the way a full denture does, so food tastes and feels more natural. In many cases the implants are stable enough on the day of surgery to carry a fixed provisional bridge within hours, a technique called immediate loading. The provisional teeth can be prepared in the in-house dental lab at our JLT clinic, so adjustments are made on site.
All-on-6 starts from AED 39,000 per arch. The final fee depends on extractions, any bone grafting and the material of the final bridge, and is set out in writing after your 3D scan. Treatment is led by Dr. Layla Haddad, our specialist prosthodontist, with oral surgeon Dr. James Whitfield. Surgery takes place in the 3D guided implant suite at JLT, where conscious sedation is available. After three to six months of healing, the provisional is replaced with a stronger final bridge. Bring an existing plan and recent X-rays for a free second opinion.
Benefits
Fixed, not removable
Your new teeth stay in place day and night. There is no adhesive, no slipping when you laugh or eat, and no need to take them out before you go to bed.
Teeth on the day of surgery
When the implants are stable enough, a fixed provisional bridge is attached within hours of surgery, so in many cases you do not spend a single day without teeth.
Six points of support
Six implants share the chewing load across the arch. This gives the bridge strong support and a margin of safety if one implant ever needs attention in the future.
Better taste and comfort
An upper bridge leaves the palate uncovered, unlike a full denture. Most patients find they taste food better, speak more clearly and can eat a much wider range of foods.
How treatment works
Consultation and 3D planning
Dr. Layla Haddad and Dr. James Whitfield examine your mouth, take a 3D scan and design your new teeth. You receive a written plan covering surgery, provisional teeth, the final bridge and the cost.
Surgery day
Under local anaesthetic, with conscious sedation if you wish, any failing teeth are removed and six implants are placed with 3D guidance. In many cases fixed provisional teeth are attached the same day.
Healing period
Over three to six months the implants bond with the bone. You follow a soft-food diet at first and attend reviews so that the provisional bridge can be checked and adjusted.
Final bridge and aftercare
Once healing is complete, new scans are taken and your final bridge is made and fitted. Regular hygiene visits, including professional cleaning under the bridge, help keep the implants healthy.

Frequently asked questions
How much does All-on-6 cost in Dubai?
All-on-6 at Veloradent starts from AED 39,000 per arch. The total depends on the number of extractions, any bone grafting and the material chosen for the final bridge, and is confirmed in writing after your 3D scan. You can use 0% instalments over 3, 6 or 12 months on selected bank credit cards, or split payments with Tabby or Tamara. Direct insurance billing is available at our Trade Centre clinic where your policy allows.
Will I really have teeth on the same day?
In many cases, yes. If the implants achieve enough stability in the bone during surgery, a fixed provisional bridge is attached within hours. If the bone is softer or grafting is needed, the surgeon may recommend letting the implants heal first, with a temporary denture in the meantime. This will be discussed with you before the procedure.
What is the difference between All-on-4 and All-on-6?
Both support a full fixed arch of teeth on implants. All-on-4 uses four implants, often with the back ones angled to avoid bone grafting. All-on-6 uses six, which spreads the load across more points and gives the bridge extra support. All-on-6 needs enough bone for six implants, so your 3D scan helps decide which approach suits you.
Is the surgery painful?
The surgery is done under local anaesthetic, and conscious sedation is available at our JLT clinic, so most patients feel relaxed and comfortable. Afterwards, swelling and soreness are common for several days and usually peak on day two or three. Painkillers, cold compresses and soft food help, and most people return to desk work within a few days.
How do I care for an All-on-6 bridge?
Brush twice a day with a soft or electric toothbrush, and clean under the bridge daily with a water flosser or special floss. Attend professional hygiene visits every three to six months. From time to time the bridge may be removed at the clinic for a thorough clean and a check of the implants. With good care, it can serve you well for many years.
